'Wonky' food feeds 5,000 in event exposing waste

05/12/2012 - During the European Week for Waste Reduction (17-25 November), another huge ‘Feeding the 5000’ event took place in Dublin. This event was initiated in London in 2009, followed by similar events held in Bristol and Paris, and is now being introduced across Europe as a part of a four-year project to tackle food waste in the European Union.
