The activity take place in the separately collected fractions Center of Serra de' Conti (AN), where each citizen can go and  leave or collect reusable goods.

Before the activation of the Center, only a part of the objects was reused, and the rest was destined to disposal. The aim of Ecolabel LEGAMBIENTE Tourism is to disseminate the culture and the good practices of waste prevention in tourism sector. The information, education and awareness activities aims to change some organizational  and management issues: replacing food and hygienic single doses with dispenser and loose products, using tap water instead mineral one, using returnable bottles and concentrated products, and local products of short distribution chain.

In 2006, year of beginning of Fair Hotel project, in Piemonte Region, 2.270.000 tons of urban waste have been produced (522 kg/inhabitant), and the 40,8% of them have been collected separately.
