Save the Date: Pre-waste final conference, 7 November 2012, Brussels

The closing conference of the Pre-waste project will take place on 7 November 2012 at the Committee of the Regions, in Brussels. During this event, the 20 best practices on waste prevention chosen by the project partners will be highlighted, along with the results of the partners’ feasibility studies on the transfer of some good practices on their territory. Moreover, the web tool aimed at helping public authorities to monitor waste prevention actions will be presented, along with the Pre-waste methodology for waste prevention strategy.

Interactive sessions and workshops are foreseen in order to share the project’s expertise and outputs. If you are a local or regional authority decided to tackle waste, or if you are a stakeholder interested in waste prevention, this event will be a key opportunity for you to prepare or improve your waste management strategy.

More information and a detailed programme will be available soon on the Pre-waste website.

The following day, an international conference will be held at the Committee of the Regions too, organized by ACR+ with the cooperation of the RREUSE network and focusing on reuse issues. This conference will be followed by ACR+ statutory General Assembly.
